Dinâmica da Transmissão Vertical do HIV e a Idade Reprodutiva das Adolescentes

Neste trabalho, propomos um modelo matemático para descrever a dinâmica da transmissão vertical do HIV, assumindo que as mulheres suscetíveis tornam-se infectadas pelo HIV a uma taxa constante. O estudo analítico do modelo mostra que, mesmo existindo a transmissão vertical do HIV, a AIDS pode ser mantida na comunidade quando a taxa de natalidade da população e a idade reprodutiva das mulheres satisfazem determinadas condições.References
